Boston Calling will celebrate its 10th festival with headlining performances from Twenty One Pilots, Tame Impala and Travis Scott on Memorial Day weekend. Boston Calling had its first festival on City Hall plaza in 2012 and used to host a fall and a spring event. As the festival grew and eventually moved to Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, organizers decided to host one event per year.
Brandi Carlile, who is set to perform on Sunday, May 26, and the bands Tame Impala, which will headline on Saturday, May 26, and Chvrches, which will play on Sunday, have all played the festival before.
Here’s what you need to know about the festival before you go:
DATES: Friday – May 24; Saturday – May 25; Sunday – May 26; various times & stages
LOCATION: Harvard Athletic Complex, Allston, MA
SCHEDULE: For a complete line-up please visit the Boston Calling site here
TICKETS: Click here for tickets
PARKING: Parking is minimal at best. Main Entrance is located at 65 N. Harvard St., Allston, MA and I would highly recommend taking the T (Red Line) to the Harvard Square station. From there it’s an easy 10 minute walk to the main entrance. You can also take the Commuter Rail into Boston Landing Station on the Worcester Line. From there, it’s just a 1.1 mile walk.
FOOD & BEVERAGE: Aside from the music (obviously…) is what will be available for eating and drinking! From Tasty Burger, Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, El Pelon and the Sausage Guy – there will be culinary options for everyone! For a complete list of vendors, click here. To quench your thirst, beer, wine, spiked seltzer and much more will be available – specifics here.
