Proud to Celebrate PRIDE
Get ready to paint the town with vibrant colors, and spread waves of love as Pride 2025 takes over the city of Boston with its electrifying energy! Every June, members of the LGBTQIA+ community celebrate Pride month with various events in honor of the Stonewall riots of 1969, which was a major catalyst of the gay liberation movement.
The Boston Pride parade is returning on Saturday, June 14 and commences in front of our hotel. Our Irish pub Sweeney’s will open early at 9am and we’ll have DJ Danny T from City Event Group on our Boylston Street marquee to get the party started! We’ve created a special Sweeeney’s Pride Parade Menu, featuring a colorful Pride B.E.L.T., a Fruity-licious Fruit Smoothie and a delicious Somewhere Over the Rainbow tequila cocktail. All proceeds of sales to benefit PFLAG of Greater Boston. During the month of June, enjoy a Rainbow Latte in our newly reimagined restaurant, Willow & Ivy – proceeds will also benefit PFLAG.

JUNE 5:
Pride Night with Orville Peck | 7:30pm | Featuring country music star Orville Peck as a special guest on the second half of the program, this year is even bigger and bolder — serving fabulous performances, moments of queer joy, and new ways to celebrate Boston Pride!
JUNE 6:
MFA: First Fridays Pride | 6pm | In partnership with Colby Drasher, celebrate Pride at First Fridays with art making, live performances, and music by Drasher!.
JUNE 8:
Pride Harbor Cruise Kickoff | 2:30pm | Rowes Wharf | The three-hour cruise ends with the Music City Queen returning to dock at 6 p.m. Complimentary appetizer buffet, cash bar, DJ, dance music, door prizes, raffle, and more!
JUNE 9:
Pride Night at Fenway Park | 7:10pm | Fenway Park | Ticket holders who purchase through this special offer will receive an exclusive Red Sox hat in Pride colors. Arrive early for a Pride Party on the Sam Deck!
JUNE 13:
Boston’s LGBTQ Past Walking Tour | various times | Massachusetts State House | Travel in the footsteps of Boston’s 19th and 20th century gay and lesbian friends. Explore Ralph Waldo Emerson and Walt Whitman’s walks along the Common; Charlotte Cushman’s cross-dressing roles; World War II bars and baths; and the AIDS memorial quilt project. Learn about Boston’s flourishing gay and lesbian culture on this guided walking tour. This tour is presented in partnership with The History Project, a nonprofit organization that documents, preserves and shares New England’s LGBTQ history.
JUNE 14:
Boston Pride For The People Parade & Festival | 11am | Copley Square | The celebration will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, parade, festival, and block party. Boston Pride For The People is a volunteer-led organization that plans activities and events that celebrate the rich diversity, culture, and intersectionality of the LGBTQ+ community.
JUNE 14:
Road of Rainbows 5K | 9am | Boston Common Bandstand | This marks the fifth annual running of Boston Theater Company’s Road of Rainbows – the first athletic event of its kind in Massachusetts, where gender has no bounds. At ROR, you be YOU and run for YOU, with love, support, and a team cheering you on!
JUNE 26:
The Rise and Fall of Boston Pride | 6pm |Boston Public Library | From its early roots in the 1970s to becoming a symbol of resilience, visibility, and celebration, this program traces the evolution of Boston Pride and its profound impact on both the city and the national movement for LGBTQ+ rights.
